Sil-O-tea...

Silence an extra ordinary art in human, we learn to be silent from the day we are born...Yup mom said "ssh.. Keep quite baby” but we realize the importance of silence only in our early childhood..."Shhh...Silence" or "Shhh... Finger on ur lips" yes a place called as skool , here is where we learn about it and slowly start implementing it in day-to-day life.

Silence plays a vital role in life at varies situations, My mind reminds me some memories when i think about it....

The TEEN age.... A special span in lifetime that is important for every individual... This age gives us many different and difficult opportunities and ya some succeed and some may not...The universal differentiation of human kind Male and Female has their own characteristics, in my opinion the characteristic of men and women are Silence and Tears respectively... Of-course some are furious too.

First experience which made me feel the sil-o-tea

I entered the class room this was my new skool, so i saw all new faces in the classroom. One face seemed to be very familiar.. oh ya that is Iyyapa my cousin's friend and i got settled along with him...

Now a guy (Karthik) comes to me with a bunch of questions more or less a ragging session, yes to show his heroism. For the first time i realized the need for silence. I never said a single word but my mind said "Saying nothing... sometimes says the most..." hehe.... happens coz there was a silent hero inside me as well :) but the worst part was even the guy next to me was sitting idle looks like hez been practicing silence since long time (Iyyappa, ayyo appa)

I looked around to ignore his questions and saw a girl seemed to be new to the class like me coz i can realize the tension in her face, now karthik's target diverted to her. He just started "What is your name" and the answer was "Mild sound with litres of tears on face" Karthik got scared and said "ok ok.... no problem it was just to get introduced dont worry" - I was shocked oops she handled the situation more easier than me, more over an apology from Karthik... hmmmm kali kalam ena seiya :)

A recent incident that happened yesterday when I was traveling in the train, there were couple of guys and a girl standing near the door. TTR arrived and asked for tickets, the guys had WL-14, 22 and the girl had WL-105.

The TTR yelled “WL passengers must not board in the reserved compartment” the guys were silent and the girl started the water fall model. He made the guys to get down and board in to the general compartment and convinced the girl by allocating a berth. While getting down from the coach I heard the guys saying %$#$@&$*%^ associated with the sentence “No place to stand near the door with WL 14 but a berth for WL-105 being a girl”

This never stopped, there were lot of instances that made me believe the art of silence and tears. All I understood is tears are more powerful than silence in most of the times :)

- Sil-O-tea – Silence or tears, btw girls no offense intended :)

Good one, and a truth. Even we as seniors, when we used to go to take introduction of the juniors, no matter a guy is a dada of where ever, we used to make him give the introduction and that too, in proper format. But when there used to be girls, and if some "she" starts crying (more effective, a girl with a pretty face), then we all used to get tensed, even the girls of our class. Then we used to make the crying girl laugh, saying jokes and all (this also used to be our chance to interact with that girl privately). But finally, she also used to end up giving introduction in proper format :) The difference here was the way of convincing.

Nice narration buddy. I too agree that Tears does change many situation to other side of the talk, but it really doesn’t help every time,my experience says that. Looking forward for more and more similar blogs from you. Genius :)

"tears are more powerful than silence" but only when you are a girl (preferably pretty).

Men look even ugly while sobbing. :P For us they have general compartment. :P

A Good Blog Kiran, keep it going.
U know what Silence or Tears do not solve all the problems. Some people really get annoyed when they don't get the right answers in the right form!! :)

Nice One..
But adding few more real time scenarios where this may not work...
Girl: If she doesn't know answers in exam, with just crying she can't make it through..
Guy: If his GF is asking "Whether I am pretty or not compared to some other girl??" If u r silence in that case... then u r gone... :)

So, it may not work all the time... We have to use our intelligence ... here comes the question... Who is more intelligent... My opinion is Girls... :) They use their "Tears" weapon at right time... Mostly...!!

@Madhu : The blog says how efficiently girls use the characteristic, and the instances are just examples. ive also mentioned my consolidated view about it in the conclusion, hope you will get it :)

Tears are definitely powerful but it loses its value when it is shed every now n then.Majority of the girls use this as their weapon to get things done. However,I still can claim there are a few girls who can hold their tears from rolling on,cos they really know, when it is deserved to be shed!

tears or silence, the power of these weapons depends on the archer who uses it :-)
